Questions to Consider When Choosing a Builder
Often we are asked, how has your company survived and thrived during the current downturn in building? We invite you to read our Frequently Asked Questions for a detailed response. But in summary, it is due to our reputation, dedicated customer service and attention to detail. Since 2008, we have completed twelve (12) new homes and more than twenty-four (24) home renovations. We are fortunate but we have also worked very hard to achieve this level of success.
When you are choosing a builder we suggest that you ask the following questions before making your decision:
Can the other contractors you are considering actually "build" a home?
Have they retained their current subs and vendors for 12-24 years?
Do they carry a generaly liability insurance policy?
Can they be found at your job site every day?
Do they have tools and equipment? Can they operate them and DO they?
Are they available to you 7:30am-8:30pm Monday-Friday, Saturdays 7:30am-3:30pm and Sundays 6:00pm-8:00pm?
Do they and their subs keep a neat and orderly job site at all times?
How does their service compare to ours, which is impeccable and second to none?
Are they financially stable? Very important during this turbulent period.
Are they as well respected in the building industry as we are?
Do they ALWAYS meet their deadlines and other obligations?
Do their clients feel as if they are the only client being built for, even when they aren't?
What is their level of dedication to their customers and projects?
Will they provide a list of customer references (40+)?
